Down South - Gilroy Premium Outlet

Went down to Gilroy on last Sunday for a ride to the premium outlet mall to look for cheap stuff. Gilroy is the south of San Francisco and the south of the place where I'm currently staying. From the first glance, it's more like a agriculture place, where we could see on both side of the highway that there's a lot of farms. Following are some pictures taken during the ride. You can see that both sides of the road are hilly.




It took us about 40 minutes to reach our destination. The Gilroy Premium Outlet Mall consists of 5 single story buildings located at a cross road. Almost each brand will have its own store. I visited the Adidas, Timberland, Levi's, Nike, and Reebok outlet store. I bought a pair of Timberland for my self at the cost of USD 33 (Roughly RM 115++). Saw the pair of shoes that Noel looking for, but too bad that it's on clearance and only size 13 - 15 are available. Here's a picture of 1 part of the place.



Then, outside the Guess outlet store, I saw this Yamaha superbike (the picture below). I thought that it's hard for me to see such a bike up close in Malaysia, so I took this opportunity to snap a shot.



Then, there's this guy coming out from the Guess outlet store and offering to take a shot of me riding the bike :-O This guy is the owner of the bike, but I didn't take any photo of him. It's really nice of him to allow me to ride on his bike. After the shot, I asked him how much does it cost, and he said that it's not really that expensive, cost him like USD 10,000 (RM 34,000, I think)... I would say that in Malaysia, it will be a luxury for me... And here's the picture of me riding on the bike ;-) Hey, the guy with the Kawasaki in Malaysia (you know who I mean), let's go for a ride!!!
